Revolutionizing snow removal with compression technology
For decades, traditional snow blowers have ruled the industry.
But now, innovation takes the lead. At Snocom, we developed a patented snow compression technology that fundamentally changes the way snow is removed and transported.
Instead of just moving snow aside or blowing it into the air, our Snowcuber compresses the snow, reducing its volume by up to 50% before it’s loaded into a truck. This means fewer truck movements, lower operational costs, and a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions.
How our snow compressor works
1. Gathering the Snow
The Snowcuber’s high-efficiency auger captures snow quickly and transports it into the system.
2. Lifting and Feeding
An integrated impeller lifts the snow and directs it into the patented compression unit.
3. Volume Reduction
Inside the compressor, the snow is compacted, squeezing out air and moisture to shrink the volume by up to 50%.
4. Controlled Truck Loading
The compressed snow is loaded precisely into the truck bed using a hydraulically rotatable and extendable chute — maximizing load efficiency and minimizing spillage.
5. Reverse Function for Blockages
Should blockages occur, the Snowcuber allows in-cab reverse operation, clearing jams without the need for manual intervention.
Result: Maximum payload per truck, fewer trips, less downtime, and safer operations in winter conditions.
Why compression technology outperforms traditional snow blowers
Feature | Traditional snowblower | Snocom Snowcuber |
---|---|---|
Snow handling | Moves snow aside or into air | Compresses snow before loading |
Truck loading | Uncontrolled, often ineffecient | Controllerd, maximun truck fill |
Environmental impact | High emissions, many trips | Up to 50% fewer truck movements |
Snow types handled | Mostly dry snow | Wet, dry and icy snow |
Operator efficiency | Frequent downtime, clogging | Easy in-cab reverse mode (Compact Snowucuber) |
Safety | Higher risk with thrown snow | Safer, controlled snow disposal |

Engineered for extreme conditions
The Snowcuber is designed and built to perform under the harshest winter conditions, including:
– Wet, heavy snow
– Powdery dry snow
– Icy, compacted snow
Key specifications:
– Compression capacity: up to 500 tons/hour (MK6 model)
– Designed for operation at -20°C to +5°C
– ISOBUS-compliant control systems
– Heavy-duty materials for long service life

Built with professional
users in mind
From airports to ski resorts to urban winter services, Snowcuber machines are developed together with field operators:
– Simple control panel: intuitive in-cab operation
– Minimal maintenance: hydraulic components and modular design
– Fast access to service and spare parts throughout Europe
Everything is engineered to ensure you spend less time worrying about equipment and more time keeping roads, runways, and slopes safe.
